Why we are 350: Scientists overwhelmingly agree that 350ppm CO2 is the upper limit to sustain life as humans have known it. For 800,000+ years atmospheric CO2 varied between roughly 180 to 280ppm ([link removed]) . (graphic)
The pattern in the graphic indicates we should have started a slow decline in CO2 by now. Rather than declining, atmospheric CO2 is going up fast! - Latest Values ([link removed])

Vote February 21!
350MKE member Terry Wiggins
The New York Times calls ([link removed]) the Wisconsin Supreme Court race “the most important election in America” this year. [If you can't open the NYT, you can read it at the DemocraticUnderground.com ([link removed]) ]
The February 21 primary is particularly important, since with two conservatives and two liberals running in the nonpartisan race, it’s possible that two conservatives or two liberals might advance to the general. In that case, voters would not be able to choose the candidate they prefer, even if she or he had not been their first choice.
While no climate issues that we know about now will come before the court, climate is certain to be an issue of concern. We urge you to consider this in choosing candidates, based on the values they reveal in their experience and positions.
Distributing accurate information may be even more important in an election like this because of voters’ tendency to stay home, feeling they don’t know enough.
