In a few moments, the second round of Democratic Presidential debates will kick-off. Candidates from all across the country and from all walks of life will be weighing in on the pressing issues facing our country. In a few moments, the second round of Democratic Presidential debates will kick off. Candidates from all across the country and from all walks of life will be weighing in on the pressing issues facing our country.

But before you get wrapped up in the debates, I’m asking if you will make a donation ahead of my fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight.

Our House Majority is one of the only checks on Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell we have. It’s easy to get excited about Democratic prospects for taking back the Senate or winning the White House.

But if we lose our House Majority, we lose our ability to protect the Affordable Care Act, combat the climate crisis, secure our elections, and provide much-needed oversight over an increasingly reckless Administration.

Whichever Democrat wins the nomination (and hopefully the White House), it will be incredibly difficult for them to pass their agenda if Republicans win back the House and use that platform to obstruct their agenda.

Which brings me to my ask: I’m up against my first fundraising deadline tomorrow night since my second Republican challenger entered the race. We’re a little more than halfway to our goal and I need your help to close the gap in time so we can stay ahead of my challengers in this battleground race.
