Hey -- I just want to warn you. A flood of emails is coming.

Every presidential candidate is about to up the urgency now that fundraising numbers for January go public -- one month from today on February 20th -- and the primary contests will be in full swing.

So we apologize in advance for sending so many emails (sorry!), but these emails help us make sure when the numbers are released, we stand strong.

Because here's what all the urgency is about: We had a strong quarter and start of January, and while we still feel good -- the month has started to slow down a little bit.

With a whole quarter, we usually have time to pick it back up, but this month our fundraising from right now will be public one month from today:

Close-of-Books Numbers go Public
December 31, 2019 January 31, 2020
January 31, 2020 February 20, 2020
All eyes are on our campaign this month to see how much money we raised leading up to the caucuses -- and, with numbers being so public, slowing down in January is hard to ignore.

We rely on emails (like this!) and real people (like you!) to help us meet our fundraising goals, and we appreciate every time you open an email and pitch in. Can we count on you to chip in $5 now to get us back on track this month?

These deadlines and goals aren't arbitrary, folks. They're real numbers we have to hit to hire staff, grow our grassroots team, and spread the word about Joe's campaign for president.

Will you show up for Joe now and chip in $5 to help us hit our goal before the end-of-month deadline?
