Over the past few months, my team sent you a number of messages.

We've updated you on our work in Congress and in the district through our newsletters, asked you to share your thoughts with us through online surveys, requested your help with petitions on a range of topics like climate change and health care, and yes, called on you to help us with fundraising.

Each and every time, you've risen to the occasion. For that, I couldn't be more grateful. And no matter how busy I am, I will never be too busy to tell you how grateful I am for your support.

Looking over our numbers now, we did in fact reach our FEC End of Quarter fundraising goal.

I've been targeted by ads from Republican groups and already have my first GOP challenger. But none of that will distract from the important work we're doing to take our country forward.
