WALTZ ON CHINESE SPY BALLOON
Monday morning, Mike kicked off the week by joining Fox New's America's
Newsroom <[link removed]> to discuss the Chinese
spy balloon and the vital threat posed by the CCP.
"WE ARE IN A COLD WAR WITH THE CCP- The difference though and why this one is
so much more dangerous than the one with the soviet union is we are so
economically dependent and they have created so many supply chain dependencies.
I hope this is a wake up call for the country."

WALTZ ON WHITE HOUSE DEFLECTION
On Tuesday, Mike joined CNN's The Lead
<[link removed]> to discuss
rising tensions resulting from the CCP balloon, China's rising power, and the
White House's refusal to address the issue head-on.
"We've heard more spin from the White House about this and other potential
balloons that have entered our airspace than facts. There are a lot of
questions left unanswered that I am determined to get to the bottom of."

WALTZ ON CONDEMNING CHINA
Thursday evening, Mike joined Fox Business' The Bottom Line
<[link removed]> to weigh on the
unanimous House decision to approve resolution condemning China for spy balloon.
"I try to pull folks into the intelligence briefings so they see first-hand
what is going on. I do think the spy balloon episode, not just for Democrats,
but for everyday Americans, they could see that it wasn't a weather balloon.
They could see that we should have taken bolder action while it was over the
Pacific ocean."

WALTZ ON CHINA BREIFINGS
Later at midnight, Mike joined Trace Gallagher on Fox News at Night
<[link removed]> to discuss how lawmakers were
briefed on the Chinese surveillance program.
"At the end of the day I think [the balloon] should have been shot over the
Pacific Ocean, not the Atlantic Ocean. You don't shoot down a spy craft after
it's done spying."

This Week in Congress
This week, Mike reintroduced the Preserving the Gulf Test Range Act for
Military Readiness Actto prevent energy exploration and development that could
jeopardize the Gulf Test Range.
He also voted to terminate the the COVID-19 vaccination mandate for foreign
travelers to the United States and sent a letter with Reps. Kevin Hern and Joe
Wilson to President Biden calling for tougher foreign policy towards Iraq as it
aligns with the terrorist Iranian regime, along with voting to overturn D.C.'s
election law that would allow non-citizens to vote in local elections.
