Since I was sworn in for my second term, I’ve been doing all that I can to fight for Wake County, North Carolina, and everyday Americans. But the reality of the situation is that Republicans have the majority in the House, and they’ve already begun to implement their far-right agenda.

Fortunately, we have a secret weapon. Grassroots contributions are the key to building a brighter future, even if they’re just $5 to emails like this one. Our grassroots strength held down our spot in Congress, and it will be the key to making change in the face of adversity.
