Friend,

I was honored to receive the endorsement of the Council for a Livable World in the 2022 election cycle. Their endorsement was important to our success, so I want to take this opportunity to tell you about their mission and work.

The Council’s chief goal is to reduce and eventually eliminate the threat posed by nuclear weapons. In pursuit of that goal, they help elect candidates who support their mission and then support those members once in Congress. This includes pushing for diplomacy-first foreign policy, nuclear arms control and common-sense defense spending in order to create a more livable world.

The war in Ukraine has once again made the threat caused by nuclear weapons all too real. President Biden is calling for continued negotiations for arms control agreements with other nuclear-armed states.

Would you add your name to the petition to show your support for continued efforts to increase arms control agreements and prevent a new nuclear arms race?

The Council raised almost $1 million for 38 endorsed candidates this cycle. They will support newly elected candidates in the 118th Congress to advance these policy goals.

The Council’s goals are admirable, and it’s my hope to continue supporting their work in Congress. I hope you’ll join me.

Add your name to this petition showing your support for the Council for a Livable World’s continued efforts to increase arms control agreements and prevent a new nuclear arms race.

Thanks,

Eric
