I just joined my colleagues in filing legislation to expel George Santos from Congress.

During his campaign to win a key congressional seat in New York, he fabricated his education experience, his job history, his finances, and his background as the descendant of Holocaust survivors.

As someone whose grandfather was murdered in the Holocaust, George Santos’ lies are particularly egregious, outrageous, and unacceptable.

As a Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, it is my sworn duty to uphold the integrity of our institutions and ensure that those who intentionally do wrong to the American people are held accountable for their actions. 

George Santos is guilty of committing a tremendous fraud against his constituents, and Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike are now calling for his immediate resignation.
