Like many of you, I was disappointed with President Biden’s State of the Union
address this week. His words were completely inconsistent with the reality felt
by millions of Americans across the country.



His attempt to spin facts on our economy did not work - families are still
hurting from historic inflation that the Biden Administration created. Too many
are living paycheck-to-paycheck, they are paying hundreds more in monthly
expenses, and the Biden Administration insists on continuing their spending
spree on the taxpayers’ dime.



That was not all Biden missed:

* He took no responsibility for the crisis at the border that his
Administration’s open policies created.
* He said prices are lower - when in reality, prices have increased 13.7%
since Biden took office.
* He said he decreased the deficit. In fact, the Biden Administration has
increased the deficit by $800 billion.
These examples are a few of the many disappointing moments of this year’s
State of the Union.



Biden showed weakness with our economy, our foreign policy, our border, and
more. One thing was clear: the Biden Administration and Democrats in Washington
are completely out of touch with the harsh reality facing hard working
Americans.



We need strong Republican leadership in Washington to hold this Administration
accountable for their disastrous policies.
