Today, we’re setting time aside to remember the life and achievements of one of America’s most influential Civil Rights Leaders.

“Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

His hard work, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice made great strides towards racial equality here in our country, but unfortunately, there is still so much work left to do.

As we remember today, let us not forget the work that’s been done, but also focus on the work that is still left to do when it comes to honoring the legacy of Dr. King.
