In case you missed it, Governor Hogan joined New Hampshire Today with Chris Ryan and The WFEA Morning Update with Drew Cline to discuss his record in Maryland and the future of the Republican party. Governor Hogan on Getting Results: “I’m a Republican governor in one of the bluest states in America. I got my heavily Democratic, far-left 70% majority Democratic legislature in both houses to cut taxes eight years in a row by $4.8 billion dollars. I think I’m the only Republican governor in America to do that. We were 49th out of 50 states in economic performance. We had the biggest economic turnaround in America. We took a $5 billion deficit and turned it into a $5 billion dollar surplus. It’s not easy to do. Republican governors have made a difference, particularly in Democratic states. And it turns out people like that balance. They like that checks and balances. They like results. They like problems getting solved. We don’t see that in Washington. It’s broken.” Listen to Governor Hogan on The WFEA Morning Update with Drew Cline here. Listen to Governor Hogan on New Hampshire Today with Chris Ryan here |
