Before coming to Farm Sanctuary, the boys lived on a property that advertised “humane” farm-to-table conditions. In reality, hundreds of neglected animals lived without proper food, shelter, and care. The goats spent their whole lives indoors — locked inside filthy, overcrowded sheds.

When we brought them home to our New York shelter, the boys were so afraid they wouldn’t even step outdoors. With love and care — and each other — they slowly learned to trust us and began to heal.

Today, they’re among the friendliest goats in the herd and love approaching people for attention! They're rarely apart — often playing out on pasture or snuggling against each other in the barn.
