Representative Lauren Matsumoto

Rep. Matsumoto has been in the legislature for over 10 years and currently serves as the Republican Caucus Leader. She is the chair of Women in Government, a member of the Daughters of Hawaii, Miss Hawaii 2011, and a founding member of the Echelon Board of the Salvation Army.

Rep. Garcia is the youngest Republican ever elected in the State of Hawaii. He is the Republican Caucus Floor Leader as well as the Vice Chairman of the Hawaii Republican Party.

Rep. Ward is the longest-serving member of the Republican Caucus and the Republican Caucus Policy Leader. He is a Vietnam Veteran, Ph.D., and a Former Peace Corp Director. He is also a Polyglot, speaking Malay, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and English.

- HB633 Establishes a Local Housing Market that is tied to residents' incomes.

- HB635 Increase punishment for the offenses of second and third-degree property theft.
- HB636 Allows civilians to use deadly force for self-protection.
- HB637 Requires homeless individuals to be assigned a social worker to assess their mental health upon arrest.
