National Constitution Center Scholar-in-Residence Michael Gerhardt discusses his book Impeachment: What Everyone Needs to Know — an accessible, balanced, and timely primer on the impeachment process from its meaning to its role in politics today. In addition to being a legal expert, Gerhardt has served as the only joint witness in the impeachment proceedings against President Clinton and one of four constitutional law scholars to testify in the impeachment proceedings of President Trump.
