National Constitution Center Scholar-in-Residence Michael Gerhardt discusses his book Impeachment: What Everyone Needs to Know ⁠— an accessible, balanced, and timely primer on the impeachment process from its meaning to its role in politics today. In addition to being a legal expert, Gerhardt has served as the only joint witness in the impeachment proceedings against President Clinton and one of four constitutional law scholars to testify in the impeachment proceedings of President Trump.

In advance of the opening of the National Constitution Center's forthcoming exhibit on the 19th Amendment in June, scholar and Center Member Lori Ginzberg discusses her book Elizabeth Cady Stanton: An American Life. Ginzberg takes both a critical and admiring look at arguably one of the most important figures of the early women's rights movement and explores Stanton's contributions and mixed legacy.

Join the Center's Exhibition Developer Elena Popchock and Registrar Theresa Altieri Taplin as they lead an exclusive tour of the exhibit's artifacts and rare documents. Learn where the artifacts come from, why they were selected for exhibition, how we display them safely in the exhibit, and more.
