King County Metro will operate all weekday bus routes for the next two weeks, Feb. 13-17 and Feb. 20-24, however, some individual bus trips will be canceled. All weekend routes and trips are expected to operate as scheduled.
Our maintenance crews are making steady progress on fleet repairs and are working with vendors to stabilize ongoing supply chain challenges affecting our industry. King County Water Taxi Crew helps Kitsap Fast Ferries
In the maritime world, we?ve got each other?s back! Late Jan. 31, we heard that Washington State Ferries had to cancel a run to Bremerton. But a crew from Kitsap Fast Ferries stepped in and said they could make a run if Metro could keep Pier 50 open and running. Our crew member Kennedy Menendez rushed to the pier at 10 p.m. and got the boat loaded with 87 stranded Bremerton riders. A win for all!
