Hi John,

Today, we remember Dr. King's legacy. His service and work forever changed the United States and the world. There is still work to be done, of course. I am proud to say I will always stand up for equality.  You can't go wrong, doing right.

This weekend I've enjoyed walking the MLK Parade, attending the MLK Growing the Dream Awards and MLK Prayer Breakfast in Charlotte. I am happy for the opportunities to meet with all the wonderful people this weekend. I'm also so impressed with young groups like the MLK Climate Youth. It's work like theirs that will ensure equality for all.
