Correa, Pappas Introduce Bipartisan Legislation to Support Aspiring Veteran Small Business Owners ([link removed])
Reps. Lou Correa (CA-46) and Chris Pappas (NH-01) introduced the Veterans Entrepreneurship Act which would allow veterans the opportunity to pursue their small business and entrepreneurial aspirations by giving them access to resources through the Small Business Administration and their GI Bill benefit. This bipartisan bill will increase veterans’ access to enroll in entrepreneurial training programs and gain valuable knowledge about running a business.

Horsford Reintroduces Legislation To Addresses Inflated Housing Costs Facing Many Americans & Nevadans ([link removed])

Steven Horsford (NV-04) introduced H.R. 702 ([link removed]) , the Housing Oversight and Mitigating Exploitation (HOME) Act of 2023, a bill in response to the housing crisis which addresses a trend that is creating artificial hikes in rents and property costs across the country, specifically in underserved communities, affecting Black and Latino families the most, and hurting single mothers trying to provide for their children.

Derek Kilmer (WA-06) and Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) introduced H.R. 929 ([link removed]) , the Puyallup Tribe of Indians Land Into Trust Act of 2023, legislation to restore part of the Tribe’s ancestral homeland and allowing the Tribe to pursue economic development and job creation opportunities at the Port of Tacoma and on the Tacoma waterfront.
