Our first Action Builder deploy of 2023 included a huge new feature that we think will make an immediate impact on your organizing efforts: the ability to attach files to fields. When you add a new response in Action Builder, you can now add files such as PDFs, images, and spreadsheets to the response as well.

Lisa Lai, Data Specialist at Communications Workers of America (CWA), told us about how attaching files to fields will help graduate student campaign organizers to track membership status over time:

“A lot of these membership cards are still collected on paper, in person, at orientation for example. So a great use [of attaching files] is for an organizer to be able to take a photo of the paper membership card and upload it to their Action Builder profile. We’d be able to track that whole history.”
