I’ve got a quick story for you.

This is a picture of my crew notebook from one of my shuttle missions. I was the pilot on this one, and I filled this with notes on everything I’d need to do to get my crew to and from the space station in one piece. There’s even a tally for beers owed — if a crew member was late or missed class, you were picking up the tab.

At NASA, every mission we flew took years of training. Every day was important.

I’ve been thinking about that a lot now that we’ve won a full term in the Senate. Every day I spend here is important, because it’s a day I get to work for the people of Arizona, and people like you. And we’re already laying the groundwork for our next mission.

I know it might seem quick, but every dollar you can give now is going to be critical to our continued mission.
