Friend:

If you saw the State of the Union address on Tuesday, you know that President Biden masterfully cornered Congressional Republicans into agreeing to protect Social Security and Medicare.

It was beautifully done — but as we all know, verbal promises can only go so far. Multiple Supreme Court judges promised not to overturn Roe, and then they did. Under Trump, Republicans promised not to raise taxes on middle class families, but it was one of the first things they passed. The same could be said of trying to gut healthcare and so much else.

They know their agenda doesn't serve working families' interests, so they lie about their plans and then turn around and do it anyway. But we won't let that happen here.

I won't ever stop fighting for Social Security, Medicare, public education and housing, healthcare, or any of the critical programs Republicans want to use as a bargaining chip. Are you with me? [[link removed]]

There's so much on the line, but my Democratic colleagues and I have plans to fight for you, and we're not backing down now.

We'll do everything we can to get our entire agenda across the finish line — including taking back the House in 2024. But we need you in this fight too. [[link removed]]

Best,
