BREAKING: IL Democratic State Senator Introduces Bill to Allow Illegal Aliens to Vote in School Board Elections ([link removed])

Earlier this week, Illinois Democratic State Sen. Celina Villanueva, Dist. 12, introduced legislation to allow “non-citizens of the United States” to register to vote in school board elections. The Democrats maintain a comfortable supermajority in the state Senate, 40-19.

The legislation was referred to the Assignments Committee where it will be reviewed – and if the committee decides to proceed with the bill, it will then be assigned to a specific committee.

The Democrats have a 4-2 majority on the Assignment Committee and the committee is chaired by Senate Majority Leader Kimberly Lightford, D.

IL GOP Chair Don Tracy's Family-Owned Business Promoted #WhyIMask Face Mask Campaign During Pandemic ([link removed])

Here in Illinois, Dot Foods, Inc. – a family-owned company that employs more than 6,000 people in the US and Canada – is the nation’s largest distributor of food and related products. Headquartered in Mt. Sterling, IL, the company is owned by twelve siblings, including IL GOP chairman Don Tracy, who is very proud of the business and mentions it frequently in speeches and interviews.

In December, Illinois Review reported that during the pandemic, owners of Dot Foods made a $6,193 donation to Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

And just recently, Illinois Review has learned that at the same time Dot Foods owners were donating to Biden in 2020, they were simultaneously launching a #WhyIMask campaign, and encouraging employees to submit photos wearing a mask.

The Real State of the Union ([link removed])
The Constitution requires that a president deliver a State of the Union address to Congress once a year.

Since we have a fraudulent occupant in the Oval Office at the moment, it is perhaps not surprising that his take on the State of the Union is equally false.

The actual state of the union, today, is much darker, much more vulnerable, than most people want to admit. And in our hearts, we all know it.

What is the state of the union today, in 2023?

Egofske Will Serve as Mayor-State Rep: Durkin, Who Voted for Weapons Ban Calls Him "Outstanding Public Servant" ([link removed])
On Sunday, Lemont Mayor John Egofske was sworn in as the new Illinois State Representative for the 82nd District, replacing the vacancy left by former House Republican Minority leader Jim Durkin, who resigned his seat in early January after a string of embarrassing losses during the midterm election.

In a press release on Sunday, Durkin called his friend, whom he supported in a letter to the selection committee, an “outstanding public servant.”

Egofske, who is listed as an Independent on the Illinois State Board of Elections website, endorsed Illinois Democrat US Rep. Daniel Lipinski in the 2020 Primary and Illinois Democratic State Rep. Larry Walsh, Jr. during the 2022 general election.

Members of the selection committee tasked with finding Durkin’s replacement have said privately that Egofske pulled a Democratic Primary ballot in 2020 to vote for Lipinski.

During that same time, grassroots conservative Republican Mike Fricilone was on the 2020 Primary ballot running against two other Republican challengers – but Egofske chose to support the Democrat instead.

BREAKING: Local Republican Leaders Select Lemont Mayor John Egofske, an Independent Who Endorsed Democrats, to Fill Jim Durkin's Vacant House Seat ([link removed])

Local Illinois Republican leaders from the 82nd House District have selected Lemont Mayor John Egofske to fill the vacant House seat left by former House Republican Minority Leader Jim Durkin, who resigned and left office in early January.

Egofske was elected mayor of Lemont in 2017, and his party affiliation on the Illinois State Board of Elections website is listed as an Independent.

In 2020, Egofske endorsed Democratic US Rep. Daniel Lipinski and on October 22, 2022, just weeks before the midterm election, Egofske endorsed Illinois Democratic State Rep. Larry Walsh, Jr., a member of Democratic House Speaker Chris Welch’s leadership team – where he serves as Downstate Caucus Whip, saying,

“Regardless of partisan politics, it’s all about getting things done, and I have seen first hand that Larry Walsh Jr. gets things done.” Click to read more. ([link removed])
