Governor Holcomb understands that a quality education is essential for setting up young Hoosiers for success.

That’s why in his 2023 Next Level Agenda, he has called for massive investments that will make a real difference for children and families across the state, including:

✅ Expanding access to On My Way Pre-K by raising eligibility criteria to allow another 5,000 more families to qualify.

✅ Developing an innovative grant program to encourage employer-sponsored childcare to provide more onsite options for working caregivers. 

✅ Increasing K-12 tuition support by $1.157 BILLION over the biennium.

✅ Eliminating the hidden tax of textbook fees for Hoosier families.

✅ Continuing to invest in the Science of Reading to improve literacy rates.
