Dear John, Since the disastrous Dobbs decision, where the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade despite decades of precedent, radical Republicans have amped up their attacks on abortion rights. From suggesting a national abortion ban to laws criminalizing doctors to lawsuits targeting medications — like arthritis medications — that a pharmacist says could cause an abortion, they are doing everything they can to deny millions of Americans the healthcare they deserve, but we won't let them get away with it. I'm proud to support measures to protect abortion rights, including leading the Women's Health Protection Act, championing the permanent repeal of the Hyde amendment, and advocating to make birth control more accessible.
