Hi John,
We have some great new features we’ve been working on for the last few months! Read on below and respond to this email if you have any questions.
Deliverability insights dashboard
Dive into your weekly email stats using the new deliverability dashboard in the Emails tab! You can view your key stats like click rate or spam rate for the week and see how those numbers have changed over time. You can even filter to view stats by specific domains! Along with the stats, this dashboard provides tips and best practices to improve your email deliverability.

Mobile auto responder for keywords
If you’re using Action Network Mobile Messaging, you’ve likely become a lot more familiar with automated ladders. Before this deploy, in order to follow up with any activists who texted in a keyword, you needed to create a Ladder to automate follow up. The process is a lot more streamlined now — all you have to do is customize the automated confirmation text via the Responses tab. Click here to learn more.
Recurring mass operations on reports
It just got a lot easier to automate your data management! Recurring mass operations allow you to set up a recurring report that refreshes weekly and add or remove a tag everytime the report runs. You can add a volunteer tag to a weekly report querying for volunteer leads, you can target new subscribers and add an activities tag, and much more — the possibilities are endless!
Fun shortcuts:
-
Easily view and click to edit saved queries targeted in reports, emails, and mobile messages
-
Set a link parameter (like source code or liquid) and apply it to all links in an email
-
Add clips and snippets in HTML mode when writing emails
-
Target engaged recipients (clicked, taken action, OR opened) without creating a query using the new engagement filter for emails
Other updates worth noting:
-
Code highlighting on HTML in email and page wrappers
-
Add a targeting note when using query mode for mobile messages and email
-
Click To Call update: Show targets on the Thank You page
-
Verification now required for email, password, and two-factor authentication changes
-
Warning when someone else is editing an action, mobile message, email, or report at the same time as you
-
Throttle your email and mobile sends over a set number of hours — an easy way to slow down your traffic for integrations, call campaigns, etc.
As with all our new features, these were chosen, brainstormed, and paid for by our Development Partners at the AFL-CIO, Daily Kos, the DNC, and the Canadian Labour Congress — read more about our cooperative development process here. Check out our release notes to follow along with what’s new on Action Network.

Take care,
