Join Women In International Security (WIIS) and the United States Department of State’s Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI) on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023, at 10 AM EST for a virtual discussion on gender and technology. This event will examine how policy can provide for creative development while also incorporating a gender perspective on the general themes surrounding women and gender in technology and cyber.


The event will feature a Fireside chat with S/GWI’s Acting Ambassador-At-Large, Katrina Fotovat, to discuss the broader issues related to gender and technology, and overarching thematic threads of STEM, cyber and tech development, women and girls’ engagement and integration, where there has been progress, and more. A panel discussion will follow.
