Republicans have already introduced three bills to limit access to abortion and diminish freedom for millions of Americans.

When I announced my candidacy for Congress, I made it clear: We cannot be a free country if the government tries to control our bodies. As a veteran, I can say unequivocally that that’s not the country I fought to defend. Freedom includes a woman's right to choose.

House Republicans voted to pass anti-choice legislation that could imprison doctors and put in place more barriers to essential care.

Right now, Americans want leaders focused on breaking down healthcare bureaucracy, lowering costs, and expanding coverage to all Americans. The GOP is choosing to prioritize just the opposite in order to please ultra-conservative mega-donors and their most fringe supporters. This cannot stand.
