I am furious, team. We are on the verge of witnessing one of the most significant victories for redistricting in North Carolina be erased. Radical politicians are asking the North Carolina Supreme Court to disregard its own legal precedent it set just months ago.

Sign our petition if you condemn this action and believe the courts should remain independent and not rewrite decisions because of political changes.

Our team has been in the weeds on the Harper v. Hall case for a while now -- our affiliate organization, the National Redistricting Foundation, is supporting the plaintiffs in the case, who are at the forefront of justice against gerrymandering.

We need your help to raise the alarm because these radical politicians won’t stop until they’ve damaged the legitimacy and reputation of North Carolina’s highest court.

Voters in North Carolina expect judges to put politics aside once elected and apply the law fairly and equally. Rehearing recently-decided litigation based on nothing but a change in court personnel undermines the court’s independence and erodes public trust in the rule of law. Voters do not want their constitutional rights or the opportunity to make their voices heard politicized by any means.
