How many trafficked and abused children could the stadium hold?

IJM|The number of children trafficked and abused daily could fill State Farm Stadium 189 times.

Dear John,

The Super Bowl is the most-watched event in America every year, and this weekend’s game will be no exception. As Director of Team Freedom, IJM’s pro-athlete community, I like to use this big event to highlight just how huge the issue of human trafficking is.

While all eyes will be on the Super Bowl on this special Sunday, the fight against human trafficking must happen 365 days of the year. Currently there are almost 50 million children, women and men being trafficked or trapped in modern slavery, making it one of the largest and fastest-growing criminal industries in the world.

The fact is, on any given day, the number of child victims of trafficking and abuse could fill Glendale’s State Farm Stadium 189 times.

With your support, IJM is committed to rescuing victims of trafficking and bringing justice to survivors through strong partnerships with local governments and justice systems around the world. With all of us working together, we can rescue victims of human trafficking and fight to end it for good.

I hope that you'll continue to stand with me and the rest of Team Freedom in this work of justice.

Until all are free,
Mark Herzlich
Director, IJM Team Freedom
