Transgender Children at Risk: Whistleblower Exposes Alarming Medical Practices

The Free Press: A former case manager at The Washington University Transgender Center in St. Louis has come forward to blow the whistle on the way American medical system is treating transgender children. The case manager, Jamie Reed, worked at the center for four years and is now speaking out, despite the risks, to draw attention to what she believes is morally and medically appalling treatment of vulnerable patients. According to Reed, the center’s doctors and therapists lacked formal protocols for treatment and relied on their own expertise to prescribe hormones to patients that can have life-altering consequences, including sterility. Reed also expresses concern about the sudden increase in teenage girls declaring themselves transgender and seeking testosterone treatments, many of whom had comorbidities such as depression, anxiety, autism and more. She argues that this may be a manifestation of social contagion, rather than an innate gender identity and that patients are being permanently harmed by the medical system (The Free Press). Carol Platt Liebau: Thank you to this courageous St. Louisan. The madness she describes is horrifying (Twitter). Sen. Josh Hawley: This is a sickening account of forced sterilization and child abuse. Happening in Missouri at an institution that receives federal taxpayer funds. Today my office is launching an investigation. Missouri children deserve to be protected (Twitter).

New York Post: Russia is preparing to launch a powerful new offensive in 10 days’ time involving up to 500,000 conscripts and thousands of pieces of military equipment with the aim of capturing the entire Donbas region in eastern Ukraine, according to Kyiv’s military officials. Ukrainian officials and foreign analysts have been predicting for weeks that the Kremlin was gearing up for a decisive push to seize the battlefield initiative from Kyiv’s forces in the hope of scoring a major victory in time for the Feb. 24 first anniversary of the war. According to the official, Russia has already amassed an estimated 1,800 tanks, 3,950 armored vehicles, 2,700 artillery systems, 810 Soviet-era multiple rocket launch systems, 400 fighter jets, and 300 helicopters (New York Post). The Sun: Putin will likely be seeking some sort of major triumph or new operation to mark the anniversary – with his future now tied to the success or failure of the war. According to Ukraine, more than 135,000 Russians are lying dead in the war’s muddy battlefields (The Sun).

DEI Not Welcome in Lone Star State
Hot Air: In Texas, the governor thinks people should be hired on merit, not skin color or quotas. A top aide in Governor Abbott’s office signed a memo stating that is illegal for state agencies and universities to consider “diversity, equity, and inclusion” (DEI) in employment (HotAir). Texas Tribune: The governor’s directive represents the latest effort by Republican leaders fighting back against policies and academic disciplines that Republicans nationwide have deemed “woke.” DEI, along with critical race theory, has become a target of conservatives who argue that white people are being unfairly treated or characterized in schools and workplaces (Texas Tribune).

AP News: Rep. James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, sent letters to President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter; the president’s brother, James; and their former business manager seeking documents and communications related to foreign business pursuits “with individuals who were connected to the Chinese Communist Party” (AP News). Washington Times: President Biden on Wednesday brushed aside investigations by House Republicans into his family members, including his son Hunter Biden, saying the public has more weighty issues to worry about. … “The public’s not going to pay attention to that,” Mr. Biden said. “They want these guys to do something. Cash for Censorship: Ad Industry Under Fire for Blacklisting Conservative News Outlets
Washington Examiner: A new investigation by the Washington Examiner reveals a disturbing trend in the world of advertising. Secret blacklists are being compiled by well-funded groups claiming to fight against “disinformation.” These blacklists are then being provided to ad companies with the goal of defunding and shutting down conservative news websites. One such group, the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), is a British organization with two affiliated U.S. non-profit groups. This group has been shaping the ad world behind the scenes, collecting funding to track disinformation, and creating a “dynamic exclusion list” of at least 2,000 websites based on their alleged disinformation “risk factor.” Xandr, a major ad company purchased by Microsoft for $1 billion, has subscribed to GDI’s exclusion list, which includes ten websites that all lean to the right and have been labeled as the “worst offenders” for spreading disinformation. The list is developed with oversight from GDI’s “advisory panel,” made up of journalists, professors, and data scientists. The Washington Examiner and many other conservative news outlets have been affected by this blacklisting, with a decrease in advertising revenue. The blacklisting of conservative news websites and the loss of ad dollars is a threat to free speech and the diversity of opinions in the media (Washington Examiner). Mollie Hemingway: “Disinformation, Inc.” is a direct threat to this country — an effort by powerful members of the regime to silence dissent, chill debate, and keep Americans from their ongoing search for truth and information (Twitter).

Cops quickly IDed a former employee, Gary Curtis, 58, as a suspect — and found him dead in his car from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot around three and a half hours after the slaying (New York Post). CNN: Last week, Eunice Dwumfour, 30, was a Republican councilwoman in the borough of Sayreville. She was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds last Wednesday evening, Middlesex County officials said. Police have not established any connection between the two shootings (CNN).

Project Veritas: Project Veritas’ Official Response to Today’s News Reports Despite what the Corporate Media tries to portray about our organization, know this: We have never been more motivated and dedicated to our mission than now (Twitter).
