Dear ACLU Supporter,

We aren't going to beat around the bush here – we need you at Smart Justice Lobby Day at the Wisconsin State Capitol next Wednesday, January 29. 

Some legislators in Madison have filed a harsh new package of bills they claim will make Wisconsin "tougher on crime." But we know in reality, these harmful policies will weaken public safety, destabilize families, and hurt our communities.

We must make our voices heard and demand our elected officials support reforms that actually solve problems within our criminal justice system, not worsen them. Join us in Madison on January 29!

Let's show the Wisconsin Legislature that the people in this state are watching and want policies and laws that help people rebuild their lives, not build new prisons.
