Team: Earlier this week, President Biden delivered his State of the Union address to the 118th Congress. If you didn’t get to catch his speech — don’t worry, we’ll fill you in:
On Tuesday night, President Biden called for further protections for America’s working families. One of the policies he called for Congress to pass? National paid family and medical leave.
And we have to say – we agree! Paid leave is critical to the health and well-being of millions of working people in America. But paid leave is so critical, we can’t afford to wait for Congress to act.
That’s why we’ve been working alongside voters since 2016 to pass paid family and medical leave policies directly at the ballot box! If you’re with us in the fight to enact paid leave policies for workers everywhere possible, will you add your name to our petition so that we know we have your backing? >> [[link removed]]

Tuesday night’s State of the Union address was rambunctious . Across the aisle, members of Congress booed and heckled each other and the president. But we won’t sit by and wait for the life-changing policies we need.
Millions of American families would benefit directly from paid family and medical leave here and now. So while Congress argues, we’re going to do what we do best: Help voters launch and win ballot measure campaigns to enact paid family and medical leave policies in their states directly at the ballot box.
If you’re with us and agree working people in America need paid family and medical leave now, will you add your name to our petition? [[link removed]]
