Hi, Johh -
The Republican National Committee is urging all Republican lawmakers and candidates to go on the offense on anti-abortion laws in the 2024 election cycle. This means they're going to fight tooth and nail to pass the strictest anti-abortion legislation wherever they can.
Even before Roe was overturned, people in our country were already facing unjust laws and regulations barring them from accessing healthcare. As co-chair of the House Pro-Choice Caucus, I won't stop fighting to codify the protections of Roe v. Wade into law and make abortion accessible to all.
That's why in Congress, I introduced the EACH Act to ensure people on medicare have access to affordable abortion. And, I will continue pushing for the Women's Health Protection Act. We MUST take strong action to protect abortion, and we MUST do it now.
While these bills aren't a fix-all to undo the harm anti-abortion extremists have inflicted, passing them will be a great first step toward healing and moving toward a future where everyone has the freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.
But with the GOP in control of the House, it's going to take a strong grassroots movement to protect abortion and pass these key pieces of legislation. If you're ready to help me continue fighting for abortion access and protections, rush a donation of $5 or even $25 >>
Onward,
Diana
Diana is relying on grassroots donors to continue fighting for Colorado values in Congress. Can we count on you to chip in $5 -- or whatever you can today -- to help her keep fighting?
