At the State of the Union, President Biden called out Republicans for their schemes to try and cut Social Security and Medicare. Republicans went into a panic, yelling "No!" and "Liar!" in the middle of the president's speech.

After the speech, news organizations fact-checked Biden's claims. No surprise: He was right.

So let's be clear about what happened: Republicans were booing their own plan!

Republicans were caught red-handed. Republicans are dead set on cutting these programs. Senate Republicans literally put their plans in writing.

No matter what Republicans claim, we know the truth. If no one stops them, they'll cut Social Security and Medicare. But now that they've been exposed on primetime TV, we need to build on this momentum and force them to back down. They'll never say it directly, but Republicans have all sorts of plans to "sunset" "entitlement programs" with "structural changes." Cut through the BS, and the meaning is clear: They want to take away the American people's hard-earned benefits.
