Dear Neighbor,

In his State of the Union Address on Tuesday night, President Biden highlighted our achievements over the last two years and laid out his vision on the work still ahead.

I was honored to have Diamond Bar Mayor Andrew Chou join me for this special moment!

Mayor Chou is a tireless advocate for diversity and equal opportunity who is committed to giving every member of the Diamond Bar community a voice in local government.

Prior to the President’s address, the Mayor and I attended several events together—including a reception honoring the victims of the mass shooting in Monterey Park.

Among those in attendance was Brandon Tsay, who bravely disarmed the shooter and saved countless lives that day.

As we enter a new year and a new Congress, I look forward to working with Mayor Chou and leaders at all levels of government to deliver for Southern California families.

En su discurso del estado de la Unión este martes, el presidente Biden habló de todo lo que hemos logrado durante los últimos dos años y destacó su visión del trabajo que nos queda por hacer.

¡Fue un honor unirme al alcalde de Diamond Bar, Andrew Chou, para este momento tan especial!

El alcalde Chou es un gran defensor de la diversidad y la igualdad de oportunidades. También está comprometido a darle una voz a cada miembro de la comunidad de Diamond Bar.

Antes del discurso del presidente, el alcalde y yo fuimos a varios eventos juntos—incluso una recepción en honor a las víctimas del tiroteo en Monterey Park.

Entre los que asistieron al evento estaba Brandon Tsay, quien desarmó al tirador y salvó innumerables vidas ese día.
