When Mitt Romney said he was disappointed the Speaker hasn’t called on fraudster George Santos to resign, McCarthy’s response was:

George Santos has lied to the American people at every turn, while I am laser-focused on speaking truth to power, standing up to the insurrectionists in their caucus, and fighting for a new generation of leadership in Washington. We are not the same. But MAGA McCarthy will never stop coming after me.
