We send a number of fundraising emails. You see it and we know it. So I wanted to take a moment to explain what these emails mean to our campaign — especially with the Iowa Caucus just two weeks away.

You know Bernie: he is not running around the country begging rich folks for money. He doesn’t have a super PAC dumping millions into ads in Iowa either. Those are the other campaigns.

Instead, this campaign is funded by a record number of small-dollar donations — most of which come in response to emails like this one.

So when you see our work to win Iowa, and when you see us fighting to win the states and delegates that follow, it’s emails like this that make it possible.

And that is why we have to keep asking, and why Bernie needs you to make an online contribution if you can. It’s our only chance to fund a winning campaign. So here we go:
