In this latest instalment of Uplift, Catherine speaks with Mattea Merta, a young, up-and-coming, pro-life political advisor. In this role Mattea has found herself advising at the United Nations, and formerly in the Canadian Parliament. Here she tells Catherine about all that she's learnt, seen and confronted in these roles.
As an avowed pro-lifer and practicing Christian in politics, Mattea very much fits the definition of counter-cultural. She speaks to this here!
Mattea also speaks about the murky, gameplaying world of politics at the UN, speaking specifically about the pressure that Western nations put on African nations to get them to legalise abortion!
