Judicial Watch is on a winning streak in the courts striking down
radical Leftist laws that discriminate based on race, gender,
ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
[Judicial Watch]
Dear Judicial Watch Member,
JUDICIAL WATCH IS ON A WINNING STREAK IN THE COURTS STRIKING DOWN
RADICAL LEFTIST LAWS THAT DISCRIMINATE BASED ON RACE, GENDER,
ETHNICITY, AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION.
Where others talk, Judicial Watch acts…and we act where it
counts...in the courts.
We are rolling up important victories against the radical Left’s
attempt to advance programs and laws that create discrimination in
America… discrimination based on race, on gender, on ethnicity, on
sexual orientation.
And if you want us to continue to successfully fight against the
radical Left and strike down laws that undermine the bedrock American
principles of “equal opportunity and protection under the laws,”
then I ask you to join with us and make generous tax-deductible gift
today.

THE UGLY FACT IS THAT THE RADICAL LEFT WANTS TO DIVIDE AMERICANS
AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR THEIR OWN POLITICAL GAIN.
But the Left didn’t count on having to deal with Judicial Watch, so
let me quickly recap for you three of our recent victories in this
important area of our work…
LAST YEAR, the City of Asheville (NC) settled a Judicial Watch federal
civil rights lawsuit we had filed on behalf of a North Carolina
citizens group seeking to overturn a city-sponsored scholarship
program that excluded individuals who were not Black….
…a clear victory for the rule of law that sets a clear precedent for
challenging similarly discriminatory publicly-funded scholarship
programs!

But, there’s more…
IN APRIL, Judicial Watch scored another major victory when a
California court ruled unconstitutional the state’s racial, ethnic
and LGBT quota for corporate boards of directors. The court granted
Judicial Watch’s motion for summary judgment in our lawsuit on
behalf of three California taxpayers who challenged the
constitutionality of this quota scheme.
This ruling shook the Left and the state’s liberal political
establishment to its core!

THEN IN MAY, another California court delivered yet another victory to
Judicial Watch and another blow to the Left when it struck down a 2018
diversity mandate (Senate Bill 826) which required every publicly held
corporation headquartered in California to have at least one director
“_who self-identifies her gender as a woman_” on its board by
December 31, 2019.
So, just weeks apart, Judicial Watch lawyers persuaded two California
courts that two different quota schemes were unconstitutional and
delivered two stinging defeats to the radical Left.
THE CALIFORNIA SECRETARY OF STATE APPEALED BOTH RULINGS…AND IN
DECEMBER, THE CALIFORNIA COURT OF APPEALS UPHELD BOTH RULINGS…TWO
MORE COURTROOM VICTORIES FOR JUDICIAL WATCH!
If you support our continued litigation to stand firm _for_ the
principle of “equal opportunity and protection under the law” and
_against_ illegal discrimination, then I urge you to join the Judicial
Watch team and make a special contribution today.

The Left’s commitment to dividing Americans against each other is
playing out in many arenas …and that means Judicial Watch must
continue to fight them on multiple fronts, including:
* Exposing the use of taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate elementary
and high-school students with noxious, Marxist and racist CRITICAL
RACE THEORY (CRT);
* Filing federal civil rights lawsuits on behalf of public school
teachers fired from their jobs for exercising their FIRST AMENDMENT
FREE SPEECH RIGHTS and criticizing CRT and other extremist programs in
their schools (we recently won a great settlement victory on behalf of
one of our teacher clients in Massachusetts);
* Filing a lawsuit on behalf of a Minneapolis taxpayer over a
teachers’ contract that provides DISCRIMINATORY JOB PROTECTIONS TO
CERTAIN RACIAL MINORITIES.
* Filing friends of the court briefs in support of challenges to
RACE-BASED ADMISSIONSPROGRAMS at both private and public colleges and
universities.
All these efforts…research, investigations, filing federal and state
open records law requests, and lawsuits…come with very real price
tags attached.

Our caseload has never been more important, and it seems we are
confronted with increasingly dangerous radical assaults on the rule of
law that only Judicial Watch has the ability to counter through our
legal system.
We want to keep on winning for your values as we seek to educate
Americans about corruption of the rule of law by the radical Left, and
we can do more if you will help us today.
