No images? Click here Dear John, The next farm bill is being written right now, and farmers, ranchers and eaters—all of us—need it to address climate change. Specifically, farmers need resources to help mitigate and adapt to climate change. Action is needed now to address our changing climate. We cannot afford to wait and agriculture can and must be part of the solution. Ask your Members of Congress to cosponsor the Agriculture Resilience Act and sign this letter to show your support. Teresa Ervin-Springs and Kevin Springs are beginning farmers in McCool, Mississippi. Their farm, TKO Farming (short for Teresa and Kevin’s Oasis), came about when Kevin inherited a 73-acre plot of land that had been passed down through his family. Ever since, they have been on a journey to learn about food and agriculture. Teresa and Kevin joined us at Farm Aid 2022 in North Carolina where they filmed a video during a break in our Thursday event. The two are doing awe-inspiring work on their farm, strengthening their community by producing good food, and stewarding the land, soil and water in ways that are good for all of us! Grab your family-farmed popcorn and check out the food and agriculture-related movies and TV shows that Farm Aid staffers are watching–from "Minari" to "High on the Hog." As always, we love hearing from you: Let us know if you have a food, agriculture or music related movie or TV show to add to our list. |
