Dear John,
If you read People magazine, you may have noticed some familiar faces: MAP and our lawmakers were profiled in last week's issue! In case you missed it, check out the article: "Meet the Rising Young Political Stars Who Are Rejecting Partisan Labels — and Getting Results." [[link removed]]
We were thrilled to help two Future Caucus leaders, Representative Tory Blew and Rep. Daniel Pae, share their bridge-building efforts with People's audience.
The magazine featured just two young leaders in MAP's network of over 1,600. It’s safe to say – we have countless other stories to share! As we show more cases of young elected leaders achieving tangible results for the next generation, we believe we can inspire more young people to come alongside our mission and be the agents of change our future needs.
“I do think that we're a unique generation, and that's what makes me optimistic about the future. As more Millennials and Gen Z-ers get elected to office, I think you're going to see more collaboration and more bipartisanship in terms of legislative effort. And that's great for the country." - Rep. Daniel Pae in People
