According to virtually every election forecaster, there are barely any Republican-held Senate seats that crack the top 10 most competitive races for 2024.

Their toughest challenges will come in states like Texas and Florida — both of which Republicans just won statewide races in during this past midterm election.

On the other hand, Senate Democrats need to defend seats in multiple battleground states — Nevada, Arizona, Montana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania for starters. Some of them were states Donald Trump won in 2020.
