After an unprecedented three years, our young people and students need support now more than ever.
Indianapolis is fortunate to have a rich variety of organizations working to provide opportunities to our young people.
Recently, Mayor Joe made a few visits to check out the great work happening in our community. Check it out below! ⬇️⬇️ |
In the last month, Mayor Joe attended the ribbon cutting for a new Diesel Engine Lab at Arsenal Technical High School. This Technical Education for Communities (TEC) program supported by Cummins Inc. and partners will allow more local students to pursue a vocational education with one of our state's top employers. |
Mayor Joe also attended "The Biggest Social" in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, where he spoke about his experience being a "Big" and encouraged others to become mentors themselves. |
Finally, he joined the Bloom Project, Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis, and the Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center while hosting their transformational "New Year, New Me" workshop. |
