Nottingham Catering is one of the leading Local Authority catering companies in the country and we are looking for three highly skilled and professional Development Chefs to lead, inspire and develop the food we serve to school pupils. The successful candidates will be instrumental in creating a modern, fresh and dynamic offer to enhance the Education Catering service to our schools.

Education Catering provides lunch to over 2 million pupils each year across our portfolio of 58 schools in the city and wider region. Ideally, you will have a background of working within the catering industry at the very highest standards and will have a passion for fresh food, strong craft skills and an eye for detail, focussing on leading a programme of menu modernisation and improvement within school catering.

In a nutshell, you will work collaboratively with key colleagues across the Nottingham Catering Service, school Head Teachers, Business Managers, pupils and parents to develop and deliver menus bespoke to the needs of the pupils and teaching staff. Your focus will be to drive continuous improvement in everything we do, to enhance the experience that pupils receive as our customers and ensure that we provide the best possible range of inclusive meals to meet our Silver Food for Life and School Food Standards.
