The State of the Union last night showed that the center of gravity has shifted in American politics.

President Biden and Democrats united around bold, populist ideas for working families -- from taxing billionaires, to investing in child care, to going after Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Tech. Meanwhile, Republicans sat in silence or even booed the most popular issues.

Uniting Democrats is a huge deal. Now, we need to double-down on fighting for this agenda because agreeing on taxing billionaires is one thing -- actually making it happen is another.

Can you chip in to our work fighting for this agenda -- including electing more progressives and building our power in Congress?

Last night, hundreds of PCCC members joined together in sharing the hashtag #StandUp to highlight extremely popular issues that Republicans refused to support.

Today, we’re continuing that push with a new Twitter thread listing some of the most powerful moments from the State of the Union.

The unity we saw between President Biden and Democrats is the result of YEARS of work by progressives. We're proud of our role organizing and pushing on these issues, and working with allies in the administration and Congress to keep them at the forefront.

Now, we have a lot of work to do passing this agenda into law.

Chip in to our work fighting for a progressive agenda here.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
