Last night, President Biden laid out a bold vision for the future of our
country. It's a country where every worker gets a living wage, our fundamental
freedoms are protected, the wealthy pay their fair share and we leave behind a
healthy planet for our children.
And I know one thing: It's going to take all of us to get it done -- because the
MAGA Republicans will try to stand in our way every chance they get.

The agenda President Biden laid out in his State of the Union is popular,
effective, and urgent. It builds on the historic accomplishments our Democratic
Majority had over the last two years.
Lowering costs for working families, protecting the promise of Social Security
and Medicare, and safeguarding our democracy shouldn't be controversial. That's
what the American people sent us to Washington to do.
But extreme Republicans don't see it like that. In fact, they've already pledged
to do everything they can to obstruct Biden's agenda -- and if they take back
the Senate, they could do even worse.
