My thoughts on last night’s speech:

Frank Mrvan for Congress

Dear John,

Last night, I attended President Biden’s State of the Union address, and afterward I had the fortunate opportunity to speak directly with him.

I specifically thanked the President for his emphasis during his speech on organized labor, having an ironworker as a special guest, and Buy America provisions that are critical for the success of the Northwest Indiana economy.

Additionally, I was proud to have Martin Del Rio, a combat veteran from Indiana’s First Congressional District, as my guest, and I appreciate how President Biden discussed the value of the PACT Act. I was proud to support this law that improves and expands health care coverage for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits.

Through my work on the House Veterans Affairs’ Committee, I am committed to continuing to support veterans and ensuring they have the resources to thrive when they return home.

I believe it is my responsibility to utilize every opportunity to advocate for Northwest Indiana’s interests with the Administration, and I will continue to pursue every opportunity to create a robust economy with good-paying jobs.

I look forward to building on this momentum and continuing this necessary work with your support!

Frank
