We did it, John,
The results are in from yesterday's special elections, and the Democratic candidates were able to secure seats in all three races!
We want to say congratulations to the newly elected representatives, and that we are so glad to have a State House majority that is finally reflective of the people.
Despite this huge victory for our state, our work here is just getting started. As a voting rights organization, we must protect our freedom to vote and push back against any policies that make it harder for constituents to cast their ballots. With a Democratic majority in the State House, we hope to see progressive policies like raising the minimum wage, fair funding for education and affordable housing as priorities for the people of Pennsylvania.
