Dear John,

Today we launched a new series of the Pathways podcast, titled "No One Gets Out Of Here Alive."  In this series, Clemson University's Tracy Fasolino explores the role of policy and legislation for palliative and hospice care.
Health Affairs Scholar is a new fully open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to global health policy and emerging health services research.

In addition to covering core health policy topics of health care costs, access, quality, and equity, Health Affairs Scholar will highlight innovative translational research in health care technology, population health, and global health.

This is the first new journal published under the aegis of Health Affairs and Project HOPE and will be published in partnership with Oxford University Press. Kathryn A. Phillips, professor of health economics and health services research, University of California San Francisco, is the inaugural editor-in-chief.

The journal is now open for submissions. Explore some of the topics that will be covered in the journal, and learn more about how you can submit.
