PAULINE HANSON'S FIGHT AGAINST IRRESPONSIBLE OLYMPICS

It might be a new year; however, the Coalition and Labor are still up to their old tricks. It didn't get a lot of attention, but the LNP/Labor alliance has been on a unity ticket when it comes to wasting billions of your taxpayer dollars on an Olympics bid that could cost Queensland more than 12 billion dollars.

Senator Hanson has been on the offensive, arguing that this money could be better spent ensuring long term water security for rural and regional Queensland.

How is it that the Liberals and Labor can join hands and create a 12-year plan for the Olympics but refuse to consider a 10-year water security plan!

It just goes to show how out of touch the major parties are when it comes to understanding the needs of everyday Aussies.

ESSAY ON CLIMATE CHANGE

All too often the sound and sensible voices contributing to the climate change debate get drowned out by hysterical fanatics who only want to shout "how dare you" at those offering rational solutions.

That is why when someone puts out a calm, articulate explanation of some of the issues we are dealing with when it comes to the climate; we should share it far and wide.

So after you have finished reading this opinion piece authored by One Nation's NSW leader Mark Latham, we encourage you to do exactly that.

Climate alarmists like to claim the "science is settled" and spread lies like "97% of scientists agree" but we guarantee you they will go to water when confronted with the points raised by Mark.

Next time a looney wearing an extinction rebellion shirt tries to tell you the "science is settled", be sure to send them this link.

MALCOLM ROBERTS MELANY DAIRIES

If Queensland Labor's New Year's resolution was to stop selling out Aussies, they've managed to fail in record time.

In a disgusting display of hypocrisy, award-winning local firm Maleny Dairies has been overlooked for the large scale contract of milk supply to local hospitals. Appallingly, the contract was awarded to a French multinational and a Chinese multinational.

This is despite the fact that Labor had encouraged Maleny Dairies to apply for the contract while simultaneously running a "buy local" campaign.

Perhaps Labor politicians have been spending so much time sucking up to Chinese billionaires, China has started to feel more local than rural Queensland?

Or maybe, as One Nation Senator for Queensland put it, "Poor budget management has left Qld ALP govt deserting local businesses & communities."

We will let you be the judge of that.

That's last weeks recap from One Nation.

While you're here, we'd love to ask a favour. We are a party with fewer resources than Labor with their union donations and the Liberals with their big corporates, but with your help and by listening to the people, we can achieve real change in parliament for the betterment of the country.

One Nation is run on purely grassroots support. We rely on the contributions of mums, dads, daughters and sons from the top to bottom of Australia to stay running as a party and every dollar counts.

We appreciate times are tough but even a small amount of support makes a difference. Your help enables us to keep up the fight in politics and get Australia back on track.
