Reminders to Keep Children Healthy

Healthy students are better learners! To help keep children healthy so they don?t miss out on school or other activities, we need to use all of the tools in our toolbox. It also helps protect those who might be at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19 or other diseases.

  • Make sure your child is up to date on their immunizations.
  • Remind them to wash their hands often.
  • Have them stay home if they are sick.
  • If your child has symptoms of COVID-19, get them tested?you may want to talk to your child?s provider if they are at higher risk of getting very sick.
  • If they test positive or are exposed to someone who has COVID-19, follow recommendations for when to stay home and how long to wear a mask.
  • It's okay to wear a mask anytime if it makes you or your child feel more comfortable.
